This project involved GRP application over damaged sandwich panel roof areas, including overlapping joints, gutters, flashing joints, cracks, and PIR panel edges.
Findings
- Roof gutters were corroded.
- Overlapping joints and parapet walls had visible gaps and cracks.
Risks
- Working on sandwich panel roofing increased the risk of tripping and chemical spills.
- Chemical safety gear and fall protection were essential.
Solution
- All joints are filled with custom-prepared resin filler.
- Damaged sheet sections were replaced with prefabricated GRP sheets.
- GRP lamination completed successfully with a 10-year warranty.
