The project involves waterproofing of a newly constructed sandwich panel extension at a villa, which was experiencing leakage at multiple edges.
Findings
- Improper slope led to water stagnation.
- Water ingress was damaging the ceiling and wall paint.
Solution
- Gaps and joints are sealed with resin filler and prefabricated GRP patches.
- GRP lining applied with ISO resin for metal compatibility.
- An additional layer is used to create the required slope for effective drainage.
